The Break Bulk department has been developed in collaboration with expert Naval Architects with the aim of satisfying the growing requests of Loss Prevention from our clients, in particular the prevention of potential damage ascribing to rough stowage and/or lashing of heavy items during the sea passage.

 

We act on behalf of Maritime Lines and Marine Cargo Underwriters offering a service of analysis, coordination and attendance before and during the loading or discharging of heavy items.

 

- Sea-fastening calculation;

 

- Coordination and planning of the loading or discharging of heavy items along with the concerned parties (Ship's Owners, Charterers, Forwarders, Port Terminals, etc.) with the task of avoid hindrances and delay.

 

- Attendance during the the stowage and lashing on board vessel.

 

We perform moreover quality or quantity control, sampling and inspection during loading or discharging of goods in bulk.
